Hi there! Here's the most important thing you should know about this blog you've been suckered onto.
There’s an underlying theme to everything I post here. I reblog things if they’re hilarious and/or very clever, or if a post has something important that I agree with.
But mostly, you’ll find posts on this blog because I find them beautiful. Beautiful message, beautiful effort, beautiful mastery of artistic skill in animation or drawing or cosplay, or just plain beautiful to look at, no real reason why.
Now, on a whole 'nother note, one of the most damnable things about RPG games is the initial choosing your character’s looks, name, skills, and so on. It’s like trying to rewrite a piece of your soul into binary. This experience is a lot like trying to choose a Tumblr theme. In the end, I chose this one because it’s a lot like a box of chocolates.
At your leisure, you can examine all the selections enticingly laid out before you, and then choose the one that looks the most promising and least likely to be full of cheap raspberry filling. Whether it be the colors or cleverness of the make, or potential richness, you can make your own pick. When you click/pick up the post/dark chocolate vanilla mousse truffle, you can take a closer look/small bite, after which you decide whether you want to like and reblog/polish it off. Sound fun?
Please consider this as the little menu which tells you about the general content of this box of chocolates/blog, the specifics of the posts/treats you’ll find, and occasionally which monk hand pounded the cocoa beans for which one on which mountaintop. (The last one may not apply to all posts.) Now, let’s begin!
Firstly, I’m a huge anime and manga fan. I have a whole list of favorites, but my current obsessions include:
Sword Art Online,
Shingeki no Kyojin/Attack on Titan,
Otoyomegatari/A Bride’s Story,
Toshokan Sensou/Library Wars,
Pandora Hearts, and many more!
I also adore the cartoons Avatar: The Last Air Bender and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Books. I love ‘em. I don’t read them, I devour them. While I’ll honestly read anything that’s good, I tend to lean toward the Military Science Fiction and Fantasy/Fiction genres. A huge shout out to Karen Traviss’ Republic Commando series and Terry Pratchett’s Discworld because they are simply amazing. While I don’t really dabble in Romance - Maggie Stiefvater, you are a genius.
BioWare is also a genius. Mainly in respects to the epic video games which include the Mass Effect Trilogy and Star Wars.
Can I just mention how ridiculously cute it is that she’s holding onto his knees instead of the chain?
